While family of the Lion and panthers, this spotted cat has such a unique physique and power that has to be admired.

heir strength and ability to climb a tree in 2 ticks means they usually drag their kill into a nearby tree where they can feed without having to compete with some of the other predators in the area like lions, hyenas and vultures.

Leopards are covered in rosettes rather than solid black spots like their cheetah counterparts. Their spotted coats also allow them to blend in with the leaves and makes it easier for them hunt directly from trees without being noticed.

This versatile cat is also a  very strong swimmer and they even sometimes eat fish or crabs.

Female leopards raise the cubs alone and the male plays no role therein whatsoever, cubs stay within the females territory for up to 18 months.
