Tshikwalo Game Lodge is situated within the malaria-free Dinokeng Game Reserve - the first free-roaming Big-5 game reserve in Gauteng that offers an amazing African bush experience for local and international visitors. The name of the lodge originated from the Monkey thorn (Acacia galpinii) tree, or Tshikwalo, as it is known in Venda. This beautiful specimen is known to provide dappled shade, a true reflection what you will experience at Tshikwalo Game Lodge. Tshikwalo Game Lodge is a mere 30 minutes’ drive north of Pretoria and a 60 minutes’ drive from O.R. Tambo International Airport and Johannesburg.
